Cutest girl ever!

Craft time

So my latest craft project was to put nursery letters up in Scarlett's room to spell out her name. I had wanted to do it for awhile and decided that it was WAY cheaper and cuter to make them myself than to pay $10+ a letter for ready made ones (especially when she has the longest name ever...). With my mom's help this weekend I got these put together and up on her wall and they turned out SO cute! Exactly as I had pictured!

An experiment with video

So I'm experimenting with posting video here. This is short and a little silly, but hopefully everyone is able to pull it up and see. Just a short video of Scarlett rolling around.

The only room that's done...

Is Scarlett's room of course! And when I say "done" I mean has no boxes. I'd still love to paint the walls (I'm thinking pale yellow) and need to get some stuff up on the walls, but here's what it looks like so far!

So, it's been awhile...

And with good reason!! We've been very busy! We spent our last few days in Boston packing up a storm...right up until 2am the night before the movers came. Graduation was great (aside from the weather). Cameron graduated magna cum laude (one of only 3 in his class!) and was also awarded the silver medal of awesomeness (that's just what I call it..he was basically second in his class). We had a great time with family visiting and enjoyed the graduation party on Saturday. The next few days were filled with travels as Scarlett and I headed to Atlanta for a few days to visit and Cameron and his dad made the 28 hour drive down to Louisiana. Moving in went well...but it's been a week now and it's STILL box insanity here. I'll have to post pictures of the house later because it's still just mounds of boxes right now :o) Oh, and the most recent exciting news is that we got a new Hyundai Santa Fe. It's large and awesome and holds all our junk! It's dark blue with a light grey interior. I'll have to take some pictures of that later too. In the meantime, here are lots I've taken over the past couple weeks to catch you up. I won't be gone so long again...I promise :o)

Oh, and these are in sort of reverse chronological order. Sorry...the google blogging doesn't make it easy on me to move them around:

First off...some I took earlier today. Check out the fancy shoes!
Does she have enough toys??

Now fun with grandparents...

Cameron's first father's day! Scarlett got him National Treasure 1 & 2 on Bluray.

Okay, now moving backwards again..here are some graduation shots.

The 4 generation:

She couldn't take her eyes off that tassel!

Now here's a few from the graduation party on Saturday. Scarlett was so excited by the camera. She took this one of herself.Cameron and his classmates, Mike and Kervin.
Love that face. She's eating her dress, of course :o)
And here's a few from back in Boston.

She LOVES her Dora cell phone. It says her name...SCARLETT it's a great day to GO ON ADVENTURES LAS AVENTURAS (I don't speak spanish, so I make it up...)
She loves computers too. She's watching videos online (from Noggin...the preschool channel).

That's all for now. More to come soon!
