Christmas Eve Downtown

A little late here, but I took this picture of Scarlett on Canal St. after dinner on Christmas eve. Thought it was so cute, I had to share!

Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas at home this year.  Happily, Cameron was able to come back from Baton Rouge for the weekend, so we were all able to celebrate in our house!  Cameron's parents were here, and FaceTime was fantastic for all my family that we didn't get to spend the day with.  By the time the day was done, it looked like Toys R Us in here!  The girls are having such fun with all their new toys.

Here they are in one of their Christmas outfits (of course they can't BOTH look at the camera)

We got to celebrate Christmas early with Gigi and Donk

Elle on Christmas eve.  She loved these Reindeer antlers that Scarlett got from a school friend

The girls on Christmas eve - getting ready to open their presents to each other.

Getting a first look at their stuff from Santa!

Santa presents

Yeah, they had a FEW things to open that day!

Hope everyone's day was just as merry!

Family Pictures

It was SO hard to keep these secret for a month!  We had them taken right after Thanksgiving, but since it was a big part of our presents to our family, I had to keep them under wraps.  Well, finally we can share!  Here are my favorites!

Sisterly Love

I was in the kitchen making dinner and I go to check what the girls are doing in the living room - Scarlett is holding Elle in her lap reading her a story.  So sweet <3

Scarlett's School Christmas Party

Scarlett had Christmas fun day at school today.  There were games, crafts, snacks and a special visitor!

On a side note, after seeing this Santa, Scarlett asked me why all the Santas look different.  She just turned 4!  Isn't she too little to question?!?  I told her that Santa is very busy and has lots of kids to see so he has to have special helpers sometimes.

Even baby sister got in on the Krispy Kreme action

17 Months

With all the birthday party excitement, I forgot to post about Elle turning 17 months.  Sometimes I look at her and wonder when she got so big!

Breakfast with Santa

Scarlett had breakfast with Santa at school this morning.  They had Krispy Kreme and took turns telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas.

Diva?

Cameron says I'm raising mini divas.  I have NO clue what he is talking about!

Scarlett in her "rocking tall boots" and her new "phone."  Oh, and she tells me rockin girls always wear ponytails.

Rainbow Party

We had Scarlett's birthday party this weekend at the Posh Paint Pub.  All the kids got to paint their own Disney figure.  It was so fun!  I wanted to go with a rainbow theme since I thought it coordinated well with the painting party.  Plus, the cupcakes were SO cute!

Here's our little 4 year old birthday girl!

At the painting place. Yep, even Elle got in on the action.

Anya, Sophia & Scarlett (her school buddies)

The cupcakes!  So thrilled with how these turned out!  Good thing since they took me hours!

Back at home for presents!

And cookie cake!  Rainbow of course :o)

Between a couple returns of duplicate gifts and some gift cards, Scarlett had $90 to spend at Target on Sunday.  Here's one of her picks...the Little People Nativity.

Scarlett is 4!

Scarlett is a big 4 year old!  No more baby...she's a "big kid" now.  She brought cupcakes to school to celebrate with her friends (princesses for the girls and cars for the boys), then we headed to Baton Rouge to celebrate with daddy.

She talked me into a sucker at Whole Foods.  Because it's her birthday...

Getting ready for presents

Dentist Barbie!

What do you get when you are a big 4 year old?  A Coach purse, shimmer powder and a Target card to go shopping of course!

A few more presents from family (Thanks Randy & Jennifer!)

Birthday dinner!  Scarlett requested hot dogs and mac and cheese.

And birthday cake!

Can't wait for more celebration this weekend!
