Scarlett's School Christmas Party

Friday was Scarlett's last day of school before the Christmas break, so Elle and I got to come to her Christmas party. They sang us carols - Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Happy Birthday to Jesus and We Wish you a Merry Christmas. So cute! Then we made a craft together.

Here's her craft

Playing pin the tail on Rudolph
Scarlett and her friends William, Olivia, Maddie and Kaley.
Scarlett and Mrs. Amy
Scarlett and Mrs. Laurie

Santa!!

Came out SO good!! I knew Scarlett would love Santa, but I was afraid of how Elle would react. Glad to see she loves him too!

Happy 3rd Birthday Scarlett!

It's been quite a week!! Scarlett turned 3 on Wednesday! She celebrated at school by bringing Ariel cupcakes with sprinkles to her class. They gave her a birthday hat and sang and as a special bonus her birthday fell on show and tell day (her FAVORITE) and PE day which she also loves. We celebrated at home with presents and Coldstone cupcakes.

Today was her birthday party at the bounce place. We had a great turn out and Scarlett had the best time!!

All the presents!

Here's the album with all the pictures:

Christmas, Already?

I am starting to get a little more in the holiday spirit now! I still want Thanksgiving and Scarlett's birthday first, but we are starting to do some Christmas stuff too. Saturday was Santa's big arrival at the mall, so I took the girls to see his grand entrance. Scarlett has been talking non stop about Santa, so she was THRILLED to see him. There were also plenty of other characters around for her to hug and talk to. All the characters marched in a parade through the mall up to Santa's sleigh in the center court and Scarlett got to high five Santa as he passed us. We also saw some candy canes (Scarlett calls them candy corns) on stilts, Rudolph, Frosty, Santa and Mrs. Claus, a band, a candy princess, Frosty and Build a Bear bunny.

Another Christmas highlight of the weekend was that I FINALLY finished Elle's stocking. Talk about just in time and I started in January. But it's done!

Scarlett's School Thanksgiving Party

Baby Elle and I went to Scarlett's school Thanksgiving party this morning. We saw all her friends and teachers and made a cute turkey craft.

Here's the 3 of us

Check out that cute turkey!!

Funny Quote by Scarlett

We are walking into school today and Scarlett says "I see Ms. Marka!". I said "Oh, what does she teach you?" (They have enrichment every day so when she talks about new teachers I know it's one of her enrichment teachers). Scarlett replies "She teaches me TV". Haha...so THAT'S how they teach 2 year olds Spanish. Dora. Of course!
