We sure are going to miss these guys...

We had our last play group with all these kids today. Grayson & Chloe are heading up to NC for their daddy's rotation up there (yep, our turn is in 8 months). Anabelle, Jonathan and Julian are moving to Canada this weekend. It's the end of an era!

Walk in the park

We are enjoying the park during our last few days in Baton Rouge. We all went for a walk yesterday.

Elle is looking cool in her princess shades

Scarlett was loving running up the hills. There aren't too many hills in New Orleans, so I guess it's a bit of a novelty for her!

How sweet is this?

Elle's 2nd Birthday Playdate

We continued Elle's birthday celebration with a playdate on Tuesday. Many of our friends won't be in town on her actual birthday, so we did this celebration early too.

I made lunch for everyone and the kids played. We had a great time!

Here's all the kids - Jax, Margaux, Scarlett, Elle, Chloe, Grayson, Jonathan, Julian and Anabelle

Father's Day

We celebrated Father's day last weekend. The girls had a few gifts for daddy, then we took them to a movie (Elle's first!). We saw Madagascar 3. Elle slept through most of it, but seemed to enjoy the first 20 minutes and last 20 minutes!
Scarlett picked out a new mug for Daddy at Starbucks

And the girls made him a book of pictures

Atlanta Trip

We just returned from our whirlwind Atlanta visit.  It's hard to believe we squeezed in as much fun as we did in just 4 days!  Unfortunately Cameron's work schedule didn't allow us to have a longer visit, but we still made the most of the time we had!

We drove all day Monday (kids and the dog did really well!).  Tuesday we celebrated Elle's 2nd birthday with the family.  It's almost a month early, but we decided it would be a little easier to do it while we were in Georgia rather than have everyone come to us this year.

The party was Strawberry Shortcake themed.  The cake was amazing and Elle looked adorable in her Strawberry Shortcake dress.

After Elle's party, we went out to the Blue Willow Inn to celebrate Cameron's 30th.

Wednesday (Cameron's actual birthday) we met some of the family down at the Georgia Aquarium.  We had never been before and it was quite impressive!  My brother was able to set up a behind the scenes tour with a friend of his that works there, so that was really cool!

Here's the girls in front of the Ocean Voyager exhibit

And here's us checking out the top of it.

After the aquarium, Cameron and I dropped the girls off with Grammie and we went to Chateau Elan for the night for a belated 8 year anniversary celebration.  Scarlett was so excited to stay with Grammie for one night night while mommy and daddy went to our "wedding house."  We had a very nice relaxing evening with fancy cheese and wine, but I was so excited to get back to my girlies the next day!

Thursday was Grammie's birthday, so we were happy to get to celebrate it with her.

Friday was a day I waited almost 5 months for!  I finally got to meet baby Owen & baby Zoey.  They are so adorable!  I just wish we got to do these playdates more often!

That evening we met more friends out in the Covington square for pizza and ice cream.  Scarlett was just so excited that there were 2 little girls that were sisters and they were the same age as Scarlett and Elle!  Scarlett and Ali are only a month apart and Elle and Annalee are just a few weeks apart.  The girls had a great time getting to know eachother.

And these guys...well, it's like they never left high school :o)

We had such a great time getting to visit with everyone!

Where have we been??

We have been so busy since school let out! We have been traveling between Baton Rouge and NOLA and trying to see our friends as much as we can. AND we are getting ready for our Atlanta trip. We can't wait to see friends and family!

Here's pictures of what we've been up to lately! Parks, jump places, aquarium & childrens museum to name a few!

My phone posts aren't as easy to format, so I'll offer explanation on a couple photos...there is one of a blur on the big slide at the bounce spectrum. That's Elle doing it for the first time! She giggled, went back for a second time, then cried at the top of the slide. Luckily a little girl talked her into going down, so no rescue needed.

The last pic is of Scarlett feeding Elle. That magical bite is Jello, which my kids just discovered a week ago. They think it's just amazing!
