Dirty & Clean

We had spaghetti for dinner last night.  One meal I can guarantee both girls will clean their plate and give me no complaints.  Elle was such a little mess, I just had to take her picture.  And of course I can't take her picture without Scarlett needing hers too.  "Take a picture of how CLEAN I am, Mommy!"  

Tiny Pumpkin

I used to get such a thrill out of these tiny pumpkins when I was younger.  Naturally when I saw them out at Rouses, I had to get one for the girls (well, 2).  Scarlett immediately decorated hers.  She was so proud!

Seaside

We had a great week in Seaside!  The weather was beautiful for 6 of 7 days :o)  We had some great pool and beach time!  The girls LOVED the beach!  They both loved the water, so I spent my days chasing down Elle who had no fear!  Ran straight into the waves!  We also enjoyed a day of mini golf and games in Destin and a day at Gulf World where we saw the dolphin show and bird show.  We had some great dinners in Destin, and one of Scarlett's highlights of the week was our farewell dessert on Friday - rainbow cake from the market in Seaside.

This is probably my favorite picture of the week.  So sweet.

The girls spent yesterday enjoying being New Orleans girls.  We went down to the quarter with Grammie, Nomie & Aunt Lisa.

14 Months

Baby girl turned 14 months last week.  Sometimes it's hard to believe she's already such a big girl!  She wants to be just like big sister, so it's so cute to see her try to imitate everything!  She's mastered walking, climbing and the art of being a princess.

Totseat

Love this thing...pure genius!! We just got it in the mail today and I'm so excited...I can't wait to use it! We got it to use while we are at the beach, but it will definitely come in handy other places as well that don't always have high chairs.

Fall...for a day or two

All this rain has brought cooler weather. High today is only 79 and tomorrow is 76. Brrr... Of course it won't last for long, but Scarlett is enjoying the chance to wear her jeans and bright shiny new fall shoes.

So SO Bored

We've been inside since noon on Friday waiting out Tropical Storm Lee. Cameron keeps saying this storm is WEAK and he's not impressed. I keep telling him to keep quiet because there's still time for it to become impressive and I am totally ok with being unimpressed. I'm SO bored though. Keeping these girls entertained is hard! We were prepared with crafts, but there's still so many more hours in the day. Especially yesterday since the parish called our phone at 5am to tell us to take cover - tornado warning. So we were up from 5 on. Other than that, it's just been gray, sprinkling rain, and a light breeze.

Here's one way I managed to entertain myself... Plain white shirts are not safe in my house. These needed birdies.
