Elle started her last year of preschool last week! She's been so thrilled to get back to school and so far she loves her class! She's still working on learning her friends names (usually she describes what they were wearing which is super UNhelpful for figuring out who she played with!) It's hard to believe this is her last year of preschool!

Elle turns 4!
In the middle of our very busy summer, Elle had her 4th birthday! Unfortunately we couldn't get together a big party, so we did our best to make it special byd honoring all the birthday girl's wishes (lunch at Chipotle, a trip to "da new Harris Teeter", and of course Sofia decorations and presents!)
Last day of being 3!
Our bit 4 year old princess!
All the grandparents pitched in for a dream kitchen!
Clearly you need a "Keurig" in your new kitchen!
A VERY pink Sofia cake!
First Day of First Grade!
Just a few short days after returning home, Scarlett headed to her first day of school as a first grader! So far she's loving it!
Graduation Vacation Part 2
The second half of our trip took us up to Boston. Scarlett was excited to see her birthplace and we enjoyed hitting the highlights of the city again (and remembering why we don't want to live there!).
We checked into the Boston Harbor Hotel and enjoyed our great view!
After we got settled, we went walking around the waterfront and headed to Faneuil Hall for dinner. Elle put on a brave face here, but she was scared to death of the "yucky water". She insisted on walking as far away from the water as possible!
Checking out the shops in Faneuil Hall - Elle insisted "we need dis because we don't have him"
Dinner at Cheers!
Scarlett was trying to show Elle that there was nothing to be afraid of!
The next morning we headed up to Cambridge and walked through Harvard Square. The girls weren't super impressed, but we enjoyed a walk down memory lane seeing the dorms where we used to hang out with friends!
Lunch at Mr. Bartley's
We stopped in the North End on the way back. We walked around, toured the Old North Church, Paul Revere's house and of course picked up some Regina's Pizza and Mike's Pastries.
Scarlett was so impressed with the old North Church. She loved hearing the history of the box pews.
Our next day took us to Boston Common, Back Bay and on a duck tour!
The old work place :o)
The girls really enjoyed the duck tour. They even got to drive the boat!
We had dinner in Fenway and had to stop by our old apartment. Here's where we brought Scarlett home!
The next morning we headed back to Fenway for a tour of the stadium.
We left Fenway and headed to Longwood to see our first apartment.
We stopped by Scarlett's birthplace
We went by the Medical and Dental schools. One of Cameron's classmates is still working in the area, so she was able to give us a tour of the dental school.
After a little rest, we headed back to Fenway for a night at the ballpark! We took the girls to their first baseball game - Red Sox vs. Cubs.
They were mostly interested in the snacks :o)
The night ended up pretty eventful as we got a gameball!
That ended a fun and exhausting 8 days!
