Halloween House

We made a Halloween gingerbread house today. Scarlett LOVED it and it turned out awesome. Work of art, I must say :o)

Not sure what those little things are...Scarlett loved the fondant though...it was like play doh. I think she made islands off the coast of Halloween town. Yeah, that's what I'm going with.

So I tried to take some pictures of Scarlett outside like I did Elle, and well, almost 3 year olds are WAY less cooperative than 3 month olds. It's that ability to run away that really did me in. Well, here's the best of what we ended up with!

Playing Outside

I put Elle in the swing outside for the first time last week. Of course she's still just a tad little for it, so we had to rig it up with a towel to keep her up straight and snug and secure in there. She seemed to love it though! It didn't last long on this day because of the sun, but we went back out a few days later when it was shady and she loved it!

Oh, and Scarlett has graduated to a big girl swing. Well, sometimes. When she saw Elle in the baby swing she wanted to get in one too :o)

And she's still LOVING this car. Asks every morning to go outside and ride her car.

I think the 2 days of being cold in the 70 degree chill was worth it for the sweater...don't you think? (For those that missed that comment - I sent it off to be monogrammed and it turned cold for the 2 days it was out of my hands).

Oh, and I figured out the mystery of the school prayer. It's "Father, Son and St. Philip Neri". Scarlett still likes to say "Father, Son, Prince Philip and Mary" though :o)

Montz Pumpkin Patch 2010

Yesterday we visited the Montz pumpkin patch for the second year. It was perfect weather and a fun day! Scarlett was so excited for the tractor ride. Elle seemed to like it too...although she did fall asleep for the main event of picking out the pumpkin!

Since photographer prices are outrageous, I decided to arrange a little at home photo shoot for Elle's 3 month birthday. I took a million and got several that I LOVE, so here they are!

Scarlett - the princess - and her new Belle doll. She even got to take her to school today for show and tell. Luckily this week the theme is fall and fire safety so they had to bring something red, yellow or orange to school. Belle has nothing to do with fire or fall, but she's yellow! On a side note, Scarlett came home telling me about how many things in the house can burn you and you should not touch!
Elle fell asleep on the go. Thought it was so cute because she was clutching her little bear blankie. Oh, and YES, that is my favorite outfit of hers. Short sleeves, long pants, all one piece, FANTASTIC! And she looks good in blue.

Dentist Visit - take 3

Well, the third time MUST be the charm! Scarlett was EXCELLENT at the dentist today! Not one whimper, cry, anything. She did exactly as she was told and sat in the dental chair like a champ! Of course that earned her a trip to the princess store afterwards where she got a big soft Belle.

Team Spirit

The Dawgs FINALLY won one! I like to think our show of team spirit had a little to do with it :o)

Let's hope this cutie gives the Saints good luck tomorrow!

Happy 3 month birthday Baby Elle!

Elle turned 3 months old today! In a way the past 3 months have flown by, but then again, it seems like she's always been here. She's a sweet, giggly girl who adores her big sister. She's easy going and a GREAT sleeper :o) We just love her!

And just for a little fun, here's Scarlett on her 3 month birthday. I'd say there's a resemblance!
