New Dress
I finished Scarlett's second dress last night. I think it turned out really cute and very "Georgia". I couldn't get a lot of great pictures, but here's the debut of the dress...and Scarlett in tv trance.

"Bye Bye" and a few cute pictures
Scarlett has been a little hesitant in the word department. She's mastered "mama" and "dada", but that's been it for awhile. A couple days ago she started waving and saying "bye-bye".
Since I've fallen down on the blogging lately, here's a few cute pictures over the past couple weeks
YAY Corn!
I love canned goods!
Tea Party for one
The "look". Don't make her mad, or she'll let you have it!
Playing in her jammies. I think she's giving herself a shot in the mouth with her vet kit. Ouch!

This Week with the Bayou Mamas - Aquarium and craft time
Since getting back into town Monday night, Scarlett and I have been busy busy busy with our social events. Wednesday we went to the aquarium and Scarlett had a great time. It was almost deserted, so the kids were able to run from one exhibit to the next and have a great time crawling all over the aquarium playground.
Here's Scarlett and Grayson, getting ready to go see the fishies!
Here's Scarlett posing in front of Parker the starfish.
Climbing on a sea turtle
And in a giant clam.

Before we left we had a Bayou Mamas outing to the Posh Paint Pub - they supply the pottery, you paint, then they glaze it and fire it for you. I picked up our creation yesterday. It turned out so cute! I'm excited to hang it up on her wall.
Today, we decided would be a good day for an indoor "craft day". So Emily found an article in Parents magazine to sit down with your kids on a snowy day and make snowglobes. We gathered our materials and sat down (note to all of you with kids - this project is hardly adult friendly, much less kid friendly!!). We got a good laugh out of it. Here's my little cricket. He turned out pretty cute! I am still peeling superglue off myself. "Bonds instantly".

Trip home and back
While I will say air travel leaves much to be desired, our time at home more than made up for the method of transportation :o) We had a great time seeing family and friends! Here's a few highlights from the visit.
We celebrated Christmas with my mom, Mark, Chloe and Ariel. Scarlett LOVED her princess jammies.

Scarlett and Ali met up for the 3rd time. They grow up so much between each visit!
We had a great lunch and visit with the old "gang" - me Sarah and Courtney. This was the first time all 3 of us have been together since Scarlett arrived!

Scarlett had some more playmates on Sunday. Macie and Scarlett sat and watched the Disney princess movie together. Martin is nowhere to be found. Boys just aren't into princesses!
Uncle Colin came out for the afternoon and was able to entertain "miss ladybug" for the day.

We so enjoyed seeing everyone! The trip was great! And I learned important lessons in air travel. A - they will charge you $15 for your FIRST piece of checked luggage and B - no matter how cute and sweet they may appear, babies have to take their shoes off for security too.

Excuse me, miss, do you have a license for that?
