Slacker

So I've been a blog slacker this week! Part of the reason is that I have my new and spectacular Iphone 4, so I just lay around on the couch and use that instead of my laptop to catch up on all my usual internet shenanigans. Of course the downside is, that it doesn't make for easy blogging. So here you go...the product of my new fancy phone...some cute Scarlett pictures and video :o)

Pirates

I found this picture on my phone from a few weeks ago. Scarlett had put this hat on, run up to me and said "ARRRRGGGG". She's a pirate. (It's actually a chef's hat).

Backyard Pool Party - Toddler Style

We went over for a playdate today with my friend Shawna and her 2 kids, Jonathan and Anabelle (aka Scarlett's new best friend). They have a great backyard with a little baby pool set up, so we had a little impromptu pool party. Scarlett had a BLAST! Makes me feel bad for STILL not getting her one this year....oops :o)

Here's a few pictures of the 3 of them playing together.

Father's Day 2010

Happy Father's Day to all the daddies out there! We had a low key day here at home. Not too much in the way of celebrating, but Scarlett did make sure Cameron opened his present first thing! We made it ourselves :o)

The big 2-8

Cameron turned 28 today! We had a fairly quiet day, but did squeeze a little celebrating in between his studying for his test Friday :o) He opened presents this morning.

Scarlett painted daddy a bear. I tried to get her to do it in boy colors, but she insisted daddy likes pink. You can't see in the picture, but at least his back is blue and green!
And we did more "rice with fire" for dinner. Yum! Followed by a Coldstone Oreo cake - AMAZING!

Poor pitiful child

Scarlett sported this pout all the way home from playdate today because she wanted a snack in the car and I didn't have one. "I want a nack...Wonder pets nack". (they are gummy snacks that she's obsessed with and come in all different characters).

6 years

So I'm a little late on this post, but Friday was me and Cameron's 6 year wedding anniversary. We celebrated by going out to dinner at "rice with fire" aka hibachi which Scarlett LOVES (as do Cameron and I!). Scarlett was thrilled with the whole dinner experience and for the first time actually stayed in her own chair and didn't cry at the fire (even though she always thinks it's cool, I guess it's a scary kind of cool). Cameron sent me beautiful flowers for the occasion. Just had to share a picture! They are still doing fabulous and I'm loving them!
