We spent Thanksgiving visiting family in California. We flew into Los Angeles on Wednesday. The flight itself went really well. Everything was on time and the girls did great for the 3 1/2 hour flight. We hit some traffic and delays once we got into LA and didn't make it to Grandpa's house until dinnertime. We were excited to see everyone once we finally made it! We had a great dinner on Thursday at the Pierpont Inn. There was a great view of the ocean and the buffet was delicious! We had about 20 people there with us. We spent the rest of Thursday and Friday visiting with the family at Grandpa's house. The girls met some second cousins and were just thrilled to have kids their age to play with. Scarlett and Brooklyn (only 10 days apart) especially formed that "cousin bond". Friday we ventured down into LA to get ready for our return flight and went to play at the Santa Monica pier for a little while. The girls were so happy that daddy won them prizes in the games booth, then we all rode the ferris wheel. We really timed it right because as we were right at the top, we saw the sun set over the Pacific. After dinner at Bubba Gump, we went back to the hotel to rest up and fly home. Sunday was a long day of travel, but again, the girls did great!
It appears I am out of storage for pictures on the blog, so I'm going to have to see what to do about that... In the mean time, here's the pictures on facebook:

bummer about the storage for pictures! I was literally JUST thinking about a blog and putting pics up on there vs facebook. Bryan's mom doesn't like facebook and won't get a name just to see pics and on email you can only send a few pics at a time. Hmmmm dilemmas!
