Audubon Weekend

We hit 2 out of 3 of the Audubon attractions this weekend since our membership is expiring soon.  Yesterday we took advantage of the only non-rainy day of the whole Mardi Gras vacation week and went to the zoo with Tonya, Chloe and Grayson.  It was a little chilly and lots of the attractions were closed, but we were all thrilled just to be out of the house!

The elephants were closed, so all we had to see on this side of the zoo were some goats and sheep.  The kids still liked watching the goat eat the tree though!

Today we went down to the aquarium.  They just opened a new Maya Reef exhibit today.  It was a pretty cool new twist on the first section.  Here's the girls with some lion fish.  

We went out to see the birds and they were CRAZY today!  I kept having to pull them out of my purse.  I guess they were scavenging for crumbs in there.  It was really freaking Scarlett out!  

Elle was getting upset that she couldn't hold a bird.  She kept running after them, trying to get a Hulk grip on their whole body.  Can't blame the things for flying from her!
