We are easing into this whole camping idea. Last fall we didn't make it off our back porch, but this time we made it to a real campsite! It was about 6 or 7 miles from our house, so easy exit if needed. We barely beat the rain, so we got there around 6 Friday night and left by 9 the next morning. The girls really enjoyed it though!
We set up the tent...
Then made some camping dinner, followed by smores over the campfire.
Sleep...
Then we woke up, packed up as it sprinkled and then went on a quick hike. Just enough camping for me (since I'm SO outdoorsy and all!)
