The girls modeled their I heart NY dresses this morning. Too cute! Scarlett was excited to wear her "York dress" all day.

Elle's Hospital Pictures

Here they are! I think they turned out adorable. They've really stepped up with the hospital photo shoot from when Scarlett was born.

Elle's First Week

Here's some highlights of Elle's first week. She had her first pediatrician appointment yesterday. She was a perfect angel and didn't make a peep the whole time. The doctor said she looks great! She's already back up to 7lbs 8 oz, just 1 oz shy of her birth weight, which the doctor said was very impressive! She is a great eater! I also got the go ahead to let her sleep up to 4 hours at night, which is great! I was waking her up every 3, so to get that extra hour last night was fantastic. We are under house arrest for a month before I can bring Elle out in public, BUT we got the go ahead to have visitors, including some of Scarlett's little friends. I know she will be thrilled to be able to see some kids her size again.

Here's the sisters. They are just in love with eachother already. Scarlett is always asking to hold the baby and gives her kisses and very gentle pats all the time. Elle already responds to Scarlett's voice. You can tell she will be entertained by all the ballet that Scarlett performs for her and the stories she sits and reads.

Happy to see SOMEONE likes this swing! Scarlett was never a fan, but so far Elle loves it.


Elle had her first sponge bath. Or as Cameron jokingly called it "Elle's first wiping down with a wet rag". Very picture worthy :o)

Welcome Elle Reagan!

Elle finally joined us on July 8th at 1:13 pm weighing in at 7 lbs 9 ounces and 20 inches long. She's perfect and precious and an exact replica of her big sister!

We're all doing great! Scarlett is adjusting very well to her new little sister. She loves talking to Baby Elle, dancing for her and giving her toys. Elle has been a very good baby too!

Happy 4th!

Even though we haven't done much in the way of 4th of July activities (besides eat our weight in watermelon), Scarlett had to mark the occasion with 2 festive outfits!

Yesterday she wore her eagle shirt that she made this week at Moms club playdate. She was pretty proud of making it, but a little hesitant to wear it. She put it on, but before leaving the house she pitched a little fit pulling at it, screaming "I don't want to wear my turkey shirt!!!". I talked her into leaving it on for the day.

Today she's in a very festive dress, which is more her speed.

Slacker

So I've been a blog slacker this week! Part of the reason is that I have my new and spectacular Iphone 4, so I just lay around on the couch and use that instead of my laptop to catch up on all my usual internet shenanigans. Of course the downside is, that it doesn't make for easy blogging. So here you go...the product of my new fancy phone...some cute Scarlett pictures and video :o)
