We ended 2011 by visiting the Baton Rouge Zoo. It was technically our second visit, but the first to actually see the animals (the first was at Halloween where it was more about trick or treating!).

This tiger was pacing right in front of the window. The girls were THRILLED! Especially Elle. She got so excited and started shrieking every time the tiger walked up to her. The girl LOVES animals!

After the zoo, we had nachos for dinner (Scarlett declared it one of the best dinners ever). The girls also had their pepperidge farm cake and Martinelli's (very fancy "happy new years" dessert).
