21 Months

Elle turned 21 months old on Sunday.  We almost have a 2 year old again!  Seems not that long ago Scarlett was 2.  Anyway, that little stinker is already hitting the terrible 2's hard!  She is one hard headed little thing.  She wants her way and she wants it NOW!  She's already become quite the fashionista.  She adores shoes and insists on picking out her own shoes every day.  I learned the hard way not to take her to the shoe aisle of Target unless you are willing to let her try on every pair AND take them home.  She also loves her clothes.  She prefers a dress with a princess on it (although oddly enough, princesses aren't her favorite toys).  She will only wear princess night gowns to bed.  I stand in front of her closet with her every morning showing her option after option to which she replies "no, no".  At this age, Scarlett's whole world was princesses.   Elle's a little more flexible.  She loves dress up (especially the shoe part), stuffed animals and BAH-BIE's.  She also adores books.  Some of her favorites are Biscuit (a yellow puppy), Barbie (duh), and her newest favorite Abby (of Sesame Street).  Lately she's also been begging to look at pictures in our Shutterfly books.  She doesn't recognize her daddy from a year ago.  She calls him "Daddy Hulk."  She's still sleeping like a champ in her big girl bed.  I sit her in it and she lays down and goes to sleep.  She is my good little sleeper.  She also starting to ask to go potty.  She likes to imitate Scarlett and sit on the potty.  Hopefully that bodes well for the potty training!  She may be a little stinker and a "disaster baby", but we sure do love her!

Here's one of the rare moments she's still.  She LOVES to swing.  She would swing all day and night if we let her "Weee!"
