Scarlett's first kindergarten field trip

Scarlett had her first kindergarten field trip today!  Now that she's a big elementary school girl she gets to ride the bus to field trips.  I opted to just meet them there.  We went to the botanical gardens at City Park.  I realized that I had never been!  It was actually really cool.  Our tour guide was amazing and really kept the kids' interest.  After our tour we went to the playground for lunch.

The kids got the chance to plant their own seed.  It should turn into a flower (if I don't kill it first!)

And Miss Elle stayed full day at school today.  She was so happy to do so.  All she had to say about it last night was "can I have my tinkerbell lunch kit and chocolate milk?"  Her teacher said she did great!
