Happy Birthday Cameron!

We celebrated Cameron's 27th birthday on Saturday. Unfortunately he was on call on Friday night and got an early birthday present of a gunshot wound at 6:45 AM, so we didn't start our celebrating until around noon. After Scarlett got up from her nap, we had cake and presents! Scarlett really wanted to open all of daddy's presents!



She was a big helper with opening and an even bigger helper with playing with the presents! Here she is playing light sabers with daddy. (These are actually Wii remotes for playing the Star Wars game).
Scarlett and I gave Cameron a Wii nunchuk, these lightsabers, the Wii game - Lego Indiana Jones, and a flying toy helicopter. Scarlett LOVED the helicopter!!

Scarlett is relaxing after all the excitement! I tried to bribe her with a present of her own - a Snow White doll to complete the Disney Princess doll collection. She was more interested in the lightsabers and toy helicopter though!

Thanks to all the family that sent money / giftcards to Cameron! We spent a good hour and a half in Best Buy today looking at everything that store has to offer. Cameron finally settled on a new receiver - which I'm super excited about because it means the dvd player, speakers, cords, etc that have been sitting around not hooked up for a YEAR are now all in working order (or at least on their way to working order - still need more speaker wire or something).
