We went to an early breakfast this morning and since it was right around the corner, we went to City Park afterwards. We had some planes to build and try out and then we went to the new City Putt (the ONLY mini golf place in New Orleans.)
First up, airplanes. The girls were really more enthralled in the big open field to run in, but they each took a few turns flying the plane. It was overcast for a bit, so luckily not too hot.
Daddy tried to teach Elle, but it didn't go well. She just picked up her ball, put it a few inches from the hole, then hit it in. Oh, and about 8 holes in she handed me her ball and club and declared she was done.
There was some excitement and celebration early on :)
And some concentrated effort...
Scarlett took to the lessons better and actually played a pretty good game.
